Quick Overview
SolaHD offers several Hevi-Duty™ distribution transformers which meet the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Code of Federal Regulations, title 10, part 431 (also known as DOE 10 CFR p431, or DOE 2016). Our general purpose distribution transformers are available in open core and coil, copper wound, and totally enclosed, non-ventilated designs. We provide single and three phase indoor and outdoor models from 15 kVA through 500 kVA. Low temperature rise models and specialized K-Factor transformers are designed to withstand the harmonic currents of non-linear loads without experiencing voltage instability or overheating.
