The Guardian Fall Protection Gotcha CRD Rescue Kit is a specially designed constant rate descent device suitable for both rescue and evacuation. It allows for a rescuer to raise or lower the fall victim to the nearest point of safety, or for a single user to descend to safety at a rate controlled by the equipment. No assembly is required by the user, and the kit is rated for maximum loads of up to 495 pounds. To perform a rescue, the rescuer must have specific rescue training; consider the Guardian Fall Protection series of training classes if additional training is needed.
