A built-in hydraulic safety valve actuates when the carrier pressure exceeds the maximum limit. This eliminates the need for a costly relief valve in the hydraulic system of the carrier. A higher back head pressure and large piston diameter increase the impact energy by up to 20-30% over previous models. The reverse taper "CD" designed side bolt threads provides even load distribution and greater surface contact between the nut and bolt reducing the chances of thru-bolt failure.
